This page will get added to as I find new resources and webpages useful to pagan homeschoolers (especially here in Texas). If you know of something that you think should get listed let me know.

General Homeschooling Resources

This is the TEA website. They provide lots of good resources for anyone wanting to teach children. They also provide the state guidelines for anyone wanting to see what they might be. Be sure to check out the awesome educational resources they have listed too!

Although it's not required for homeschoolers to keep track of records for the state of Texas it can come in handy, especially as you head towards the highschool years. This site offers a free software download for homeschoolers to be able to keep track of attendance, grades, field trips, resources, etc. For $30 you can get the upgrade to the PLUS version which includes the ability to print out highschool transcripts (which come in handy for most colleges). If you'd rather use a CD than an online download there is an extra $5 charge for shipping and handling on both of these. Not bad considering what you get though.

I can't think of any other way to put it. There's just a lot of really good links and information to be found on this site for homeschoolers in general.

Some of these might overlap with the other site, but there's just a lot of stuff out there for homeschoolers.

Brainpop has a fun way to present almost every subject out there. Very cool site.

This link goes straight to the Eclectic Homeschoolers Online list of Texas resources.

School psychologists can provide a wealth of information and it is the one area that some parents feel might be lacking if they go for a non-traditional form of schooling. This site offers resources for families and school psychologists. Excellent site for most aspects of gifted and talented, special needs/learning disabled, and other forms of help that you might need and not have access to normally.

Pagan Oriented Homeschool Resources

A reasonably priced online pagan oriented school that goes from preschool- 12th. They mostly are based on the Montessori method. You also have the choice of using them as an umbrella school if you prefer to decide on your own schooling methods, or they have a framework curricula that allows you to have a pattern to work from without having to do online schooling.

Lots of good stuff for pagan homeschoolers to use for everything from math and history to language arts. They also have a really cool crafts page.

Lots of good places for pagan homeschoolers to get more information. This site is also a good one for looking for general homeschool information too.

This site has some very good ideas for seasonal projects to use with kids for the wheel of the year along with a long list of pagan oriented kids books. Mostly aimed at younger kids, but very good ideas.

Have Fun! I have other links throughout the site so if you don't find what you're looking for here try some of the other pages.
